A student may obtain a UK degree in Malaysia by enrolling in a twinning programme. A twinning programme is structured flexibly--- 3+0, 1+2, or even 2+1. The first number denotes the time a student will spend studying in Malaysia, and the second, the number of years spent at the partner university. A 3+0 programme would see a student study solely in Malaysia, but still earn a UK degree. A 1+2 programme involves studying one year in Malaysia, and then 2 years at a top UK university.
