Australian twinning/transfer programmes give you the opportunity to study an Australian degree for up to half the cost. By spending one or two years in Malaysia and Australia, you can save a significant amount. For students who think that they’re not yet ready to move halfway across the world for their entire degree, a twinning/transfer programme can also be a good alternative.
There are three common types of twinning programmes, the ‘1+2’ programme, ‘2+1’ programme and ‘3+0’ programme. The digits indicate the number of years you will study in a region; for example, the ‘1+2’ programme means that you will spend one year in Malaysia and two years in Australia.
Students can choose between programmes that involve UK universities based on their needs.

The average cost of an Australian twinning/transfer programme is between RM50,000 – RM100,000 for the whole course.
The typical degree pathway in an Australian twinning/transfer programme is as follows:

Pre-University – Degree Year 1 (in local private university) – Degree Year 2 & 3 (in Australian university)
